An accredited investor can be an individual or couple with a net worth exceeding $1 million; an individual with income exceeding $200,000 for each of the last two years, with a reasonable expectation of similar current year income; a couple with joint income exceeding $300,000 for each of the two last years, with a reasonable expectation of similar current year income; or a trust, charitable organization, corporation, or partnership with assets exceeding $5 million.
