"Accredited investor" is generally defined to include individuals or couples with a net worth exceeding $1 million; individuals with incomes exceeding $200,000 in each of the two most recent years, with a reasonable expectation of the same current year income level; couples with joint incomes incomes exceeding $300,000 in each of the two most recent years, with a reasonable expectation of the same current year income level; and trusts, charitable organizations, corporations, and partnerships with assets exceeding $5 million.
